Character is not only an ideal, but a cardinal principle of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. Our brothers hold it, as well as Scholarship and Brotherhood in highest regard. With these three principles amongst all other things we learn, we can shape our lives and grow to become men during our time at college.
Character forms the hinges for the door to success. Character consists of six pillars: trustworthiness, fairness, respect, responsibility, caring, and brotherhood. The integrity that one gains after the mastery of these six pillars will breed success in its finest form. Here at Phi Sigma Kappa, we look for men who enter college with these characteristics in their blossoming stages, so that we can make them into men of true character and class.
Phi Sigma Kappa at the University of Tennessee has established itself with a reputation for creating ideal southern gentlemen. A focus is enstilled in every new member to live a balanced life, put education and friendship as priorities, and to develop manners and morals to aid in the entirity of brother's post-collegiate careers. We care to continue our reputation and to be true southern men, men of chivalry and men of manner.
There are many organizations that brothers are involved in outside of the fraternity on campus. These organizations are good means to get further involved on campus, as well as to gain leadership roles amongst your peers, friends and brothers at the University of Tennessee.
Interfraternity Council(IFC) is a council of members of all social fraternities on campus.
All Campus Events(ACE) is an organization that puts on events for the entire student body, such as Volapalooza.
Student Alumni Association(SAA) is an organization that acts as a liason between the students and administration of the campus to the alumni of our university.
Student Government Association(SGA) is a student-elected group comprised of senators, appointed officials, and executive board that act as the government of the student body on campus. Freshman Council is a great way to get your foot in the door to later be on Student Government.
Orientation Leaders, Ignite teams and Ignite Summit, Ambassador Scholars, Central Programming Council(CPC), ROTC, and more other organizations exist throughout campus.
For more information, visit http://www.asa.utk.edu/ to find a list of all registered student organizations.
email from willrob: From the philanthropy point of view a couple things to add, A link to the Knoxville Habitat for Humanity site, http://www.knoxvillehabitatforhumanity.com
Maybe if we could get a countdown timer, one of those fancy gizmo's, counting down to when we begin construction (date will be known in a few weeks)
and also a photo gallery of only philanthropy photos (I have a ton).
email from odom: sounds good for parents association stuff, the important stuff would be pay pal for habitat stuff and just upcoming events (philanthropies, brotherhood events, etc.), especially ones involving parents. for example, upcoming home football games and times, and a write up about parents weekend (to be announced)
i think the picture idea is great, parents love that shit. your best bet would be to talk to pool about that, he's got all the pics and whatnot.
anything else i can help with let me know.
Akins email: “The Xi Deuteron Chapter has created a legacy of excellence at the University of Tennessee, since its founding in 1927. Today we uphold this legacy and through the honor of all previous members. We would like to welcome and thank all of our Alumni for the support which has help create what Phi Sigma Kappa is today.”
-I would add a famous alumni section (this can be found on the nationals website) -Links, and contact are both good.
Attached are some pictures pic the ones you think are the best.

The site will somewhat be a mock of another client's creations, yet I want it to be sleaker. The site's design team page is known as "Chapter Communications"
Template designs that they have. I like the look of most of them, however we obviously don't want to copy anything they have. This is all moreso for inspiration. Template selection
Another one of their pages that they made is found here: SEMO Pikes
create site using drupal
dev site running at demo site
Site design pics (emblems, etc)
this site needs a easy way to manage the following

joomla google talk video
